Customers of both firms can now benefit from a direct interface between their TMW Systems® TMWSuite transportation management software and Teletrac’s award-winning Fleet Director™ GPS and vehicle tracking software for improved efficiencies.
The interface will provide customers using both systems real-time, automated access to vehicle location, motion, and mileage data plus departure and arrival status updates, eliminating the need to manually track vehicles and status. Dispatchers can send routes and stops from TMWSuite directly to the cab, seamlessly. Fleet Director’s™ automatic routing will ensure drivers use the most fuel-and-time-efficient routes. 2-way messaging between dispatch and drivers will give dispatchers greater flexibility to make operational changes on-the-fly based on real-time, factual information. And, because all messages are automatically archived, fleets gain a unique ongoing record of their operations.
