Account Executive

Are you self-motivated, able to turn 'suspects' to 'prospects', have a keen eye in providing "value added" solutions for clients... are you a seasoned account executive with a strong knack to close deals?

ELM Technologies Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Mississauga, Ontario providing GPS wireless solutions for AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) tracking for fleet owners in numerous vertical markets. Our clients include Construction, Heavy Equipment, Transportation, Energy, Waste Management, Police Services, EMS, Municipalities, HVAC and Plumbing to mention just a few.

We currently have openings for an Enthusiastic, Energetic and Outgoing, Seasoned Account Executives.
                       
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, your primary duties will include developing customer relationships by…

  • Prospecting companies with fleets of vehicles or other large assets like heavy equipment/machinery to promoting our AVL solutions for location tracking and overall asset utilization
  • Focusing on one or more of the following sectors; government/municipality, enterprise, construction and service/delivery
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to prospective clients with clear value propositions and solution benefits
  • Managing a sales funnel electronically and providing timely updates, in order to meet and/or exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Prospecting new leads (“Hunting”) and opening new doors for ELM within existing or new segments
  • Preparing customer quotations, follow-ups, and closing deals
  • Attending and supporting Trade shows, Webinars and/or Association Meetings to promote our product and services
  • Travel within Ontario

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Outside Sales experience within the construction, heavy equipment, transportation and/or electronics industry
  • Proven experience in communicating the ROI of a technology solution
  • Knowledge &/or background with GPS and AVL Solutions
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in the Sales process and lead generation; preparation of sales quotes, reports, business proposals and procedures
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Sales team to meet targets and customer expectations
  • Proven ability to close deals
